Mid Atlantic Scientific Service, Inc (formerly known as R&D Service,Inc) was started in 1995 and has been providing service to the scientific community for 14 years. Prior to the launch of our company our President/CEO Bob Reissman worked for DuPont Medical Products. During his 18+ years with DuPont he provided field service support for HPLC and the Sorvall Centrifuge product line. Bob held multiple positions within the Medical Products Department from field service, field supervision as well as product support and training.
From our inception, our mission statement has always been “Provide the best service at a fair market price”.
Our technical representatives receive extensive in-house and factory training as well as annual recertification classes. Their tools and test equipment are of the highest standards. Our measuring equipment is certified and NIST traceable. We understand and adhere to all GLP and GMP practices. We repair, calibrate and certify calibration on all equipment serviced by Mid Atlantic Scientific Service, Inc.
Mid Atlantic Scientific Service, Inc is an active member of NISA (National Independent Service Association) and a board member. Our association networks with many other companies throughout the United States who provide service to the scientific community. We share technology, spare parts, training and equipment to provide premium level field service to our customers.
